The challenge

Lasting Impression.

To design a logo and a branding guideline booklet for Beedie’s new industrial strata project: ‘Port Kells West' a three-building wide development located at 9697 190th Street, Surrey. The logo is designed for use on all promotional materials for Port Kells West including marketing signage, print materials, advertising, website, social media etc.

    We developed a contemporary logo type that is distinct from other branding in the overall Port Kells industrial area. We created a logo that would be easily adaptable for a variety of print materials, and the upcoming website. The logo was created to brand the Port Kells West development while acknowledging the surrounding Fraser Valley area.

    Some of the key elements we considered when designing the logo were its:

    • Design/architecture of the building consistency
    • Building colors
    • Location of the project/ environmental area surrounding the Fraser Valley
